Monleras 1º turn [Days 10-14] - Last days

And the end of the 1º camp arrived! The last days were so full of activities and things to do that we haven't even had time to upload the blog! Everything started on Thursday, when the volunteers prepared some games for the children in the village and then they carried them out. At night they played a last game with them, and next day we went to Los Arribes del Duero. We had a bath in a fantastic place, went into a boat and discovered the dams of Aldeadávila and Almendra. On Saturday we went to the lake to relax and at night we could enjoy a fantastic night out at the theatre listening and watching to some folk music. On Sunday we had the international Masterchef dinner, when we could try some specialities from around the world, and on Monday they said goodbye to Carlos, prepared their luggage and could enjoy some great videos of the LipDub they had already prepared and a presentation with pictures and videos. Then they took some pictures with the children and people from the village and had a great night before coming back home. We hope they have enjoyed a lot and have got a great experience, and we hope to see them all really soon. Bye bye!

Y llegó el fin del 1º turno! Los últimos días estaban tan llenos de actividades y cosas que hacer no hemos tenido ni siquiera tiempo de actualizar el blog! Todo comenzó el jueves, cuando los voluntarios prepararon algunos juegos para los niños del pueblo y los llevaron a cabo con ellos. Por la noche jugaron a un último juego con ellos y al día siguiente fuimos a Los Arribes del Duero. Nos pegamos un chapuzón en un lugar genial, dimos un paseo en barco y descubrimos las presas de Aldeadávila y Almendra. El sábado fuimos al lago para relajarnos y por la noche disfrutamos de una noche fuera en el teatro escuchando y viendo música folk. El domingo tuvimos la cena internacional Masterchef, en la que pudimos probar algunas especialidades de todo el mundo, y el lunes los voluntarios le dijeron adiós a Carlos, prepararon su equipaje y vieron los vídeos del Lipdub que habían preparado y una presentación con fotos y vídeos. Luego se hicieron unas fotos con los niños y las personas del pueblo y se lo pasaron genial en la última noche antes de volver a casa. Esperamos que se lo hayan pasado genial y que se lleven una buena experiencia, y esperamos volver a verles a todos muy pronto. Adiós!!
