Monleras Work Camp 2017 - 1º turn [Days 4, 5 and 6]

Hello everyone! This last weekend has been a non-stop for all the volunteers with plenty of activities. In the mornings of Friday and Saturday they have been keeping on working. The main work has been the collocation of bricks for the walls of the metal workshop, but they have also been continuing the small path of stones next to the building of the oven. An interesting task for these days has been the repainting of the musical square, which was quite damaged by the weather.

In the afternoons we have had a leather workshop, in which we have created our own bracelets, and an afternoon at the pool in the village nearby. The nights have been a bit relaxing, being Friday night a free night for them and Saturday night a musical night, as there was a flamenco show. On Sunday we were all day outside, to La Alberca and Salamanca, with a small stop at a pool. Stay tuned for more!

Hola a todo el mundo! Este pasado fin de semana ha sido un no parar para todos los voluntarios con mogollón de actividades. Por las mañanas del viernes y sábado han continuado trabajando. El principal trabajo ha sido colocar ladrillos de termoarcilla para los muros de la fragua, pero también han continuado el pequeño sendero de piedras al lado del cernidero. Una tarea interesante para estos días ha sido volver a pintar el cuadrado musical, que estaba bastante dañado por la meteorología.

Por las tardes hemos hecho un pequeño taller de pulseras de piel y hemos pasado una tarde en la piscina del pueblo de al lado. Las noches han sido bastante de relax, ya que el viernes fue noche libre y el sábado hubo actuación musical, con un cuadro flamenco. El domingo estuvimos todo el día fuera, a La Alberca y Salamanca, con una pequeña parada en una piscina. Estad atentos para más información!
