Monleras Work Camp 2016 - 1º turn [Days 3 and 4]

Hello everyone again! Sorry for the delay with the update, but we have been so busy that I haven't had time to upload any of this before. Anyway, there we go! On Thursday and Friday the volunteers already knew the groups they were about to work in, distributed the different tasks they had to do and started with the hard work. The main place to work this year is the building with the oven inside, so the volunteers started preparing the floor and covering the oven with some layers of mud. They also worked in the SandBox castle and the "Oca" game, as they were damaged.

On Thursday afternoon they carried out some interviews to people in the village to find out about their lifestyle and the future of some jobs in the village, which was quite interesting. At night we saw a video at the Interpretation Centre related to all this rural lifestyle. On Friday afternoon they learnt some basic skills about leather working and they could even make their own leather bag to keep money. We gave them a free night, as they had deserved it. Stay tuned!

¡Permaneced atentos!
