Monleras 2º turn - [Days 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10]

Hello again and welcome back! Sorry for the delay, but my laptop just broke down some days ago and I haven't been able to upload the blog until now. This week we have been going on with the construction of the hut with the oven. The main work has been setting the wooden roof as other volunteers prepared the game of the frog, restoring the pond in the middle and filling it with water. For the activities we have been carrying out different things; we have visited a farm with chicken and also a dairy farm, we have been back to the lake for a swim, we have played some games based on football and also we have prepared the lipdub which will be shown on the last day in the village theatre. At nights we have been playing some games and carrying out gymkhanas with the children from the village and on Tuesday we had a very special edition of "Tu Cara me Suena", though the winners were a group of boys and girls from Monleras! There have also been a couple of special days; on Wednesday we had a family day, when the volunteers had to spend a morning with a family, learning to do other jobs related to the countryside and also having lunch with them. On Friday, we went on an excursion to two dams, Almendra and Aldeadávila, and also we had a boat trip along the "Arribes del Duero" from Vilvestre, which was quite enjoyable. Hola de nuevo y bienvenidos! Sentimos el retraso, pero se me estropeó el portátil hace unos días y no he podido ir actualizando cosas hasta ahora. Esta semana hemos continuado con la construcción del cernidero con el horno. El trabajo principal ha sido poner el tejado de madera mientras otros voluntarios preparaban el juego de la rana, restaurando la charca del medio y llenándola de agua. Para las actividades hemos hecho diferentes cosillas; hemos visitado una granja con gallinas y también una explotación ganadera, hemos vuelto al embalse a darnos un chapuzón, hemos jugado a juegos basados en el fútbol y también hemos preparado el lipdub que se mostrará el último día en el anfiteatro. Por las noches hemos jugado a diferentes juegos y gymkhanas con los niños del pueblo y el martes tuvimos una noche especial con "Tu cara me suena", aunque los ganadores fueron un grupo de chicos y chicas de Monleras! También hemos tenido un par de días especiales; el miércoles fue el día de las familias, en el que los voluntarios tenían que pasar la mañana con una familia, aprendiendo otros trabajos relacionados con el campo y también comiendo con ellos. El viernes fuimos a una excursión a dos presas, Almendra y Aldeadávila, y también nos fuimos de viaje en barco por las Arribes del Duero, desde Vilvestre, y estuvo genial.
